CPD Accredited Training
Client background
Our client was a global energy and commodities firm providing services to enterprise-level, multinational and nation-state customers.
The challenge
The client wanted an approach to anti-financial crime training for circa 150 members of staff that was relevant to the energy and commodity sector, delivered in the context of the firm’s own policies and procedures and was as interactive as possible.
Our approach and contribution
Working in close partnership with the firm we:
Created the training module content covering Market Abuse, Bribery and Corruption, and Money Laundering, specific to the energy and commodity sector.
Researched and incorporated relevant case studies to connect the training to the real world where appropriate.
Reviewed the firm’s policies and procedures and incorporated the relevant information into the bespoke training modules.
Delivered the three subject modules via Zoom utilising the chat function to raise questions, encourage debate and provide supporting information through the course of each module.
Collated information and answers to all questions raised in the sessions and provided to the client to share and circulate to its staff.
Monitored attendance to each session and provided additional training sessions to ensure all priority staff members were able to complete all the training modules.
The outcome
As a result of our engagement:
The firm received tailored CPD accredited training, relevant to its sector.
The training has supported the client’s control framework in managing its internal anti-financial crime framework and satisfying its regulatory obligations.
